Using IMAP to Configure EarthLink Account in Outlook

Launch Outlook.
Select Add Account under File from the menu.
Select "Manual Setup or Other Server Types" and click Next.
Choose POP or IMAP and press Next.
Enter your name and EarthLink email address in User Information.
Under Server Information, choose IMAP as the Account Type.
Enter imap.earthlink.net as the incoming mail server.
Enter smtpauth.earthlink.net in the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) field.
Enter your password and email address in the Logon Information field.
Select "More settings".
Under the Outgoing Server tab, check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" and "Use the same settings as my incoming mail server".
